Sale News: Congratulations to Dr Ladyman of Western Australia on the purchase of Hunters Risque Business and to Imoan Arabians of Victoria on the purchase of Summer Park Moninique. We wish you all the best with these beautiful horses.
Peter Cooke from Imoan Arabians purchased Monique sight unseen and says "I was pleasantly surprised. Monique...is more than I had expected. She is a very warm and affectionate mare and she moves beautifully. Thank you very much."

Rahere has won again at the US Nationals. He was awarded Top Ten Western Pleasure Horse at the 2009 US National Championships. Rahere has proved himself in halter, performance and also as a sire. His daughter Raherra was awarded 2009 Reserve US National Champion Sweepstakes Yearling Filly. Rahere is sired by Desperado and from our Rose of Sarangani. He was bred by Jill Bembrick of Sarangani Arabians.

Rose of Sarangani has foaled an amazing filly by Baranski. This filly will turn grey and will be named Eskdale Madeline Rose. She is an excellent blend of both her parents and we look forward to seeing her mature. For photos check out our foals page.
Congratulations to Ken Moir and Eskdale Shakago Bae (pictured) on their successful completion of the 2009 Tom Quilty 160klm ride. Competing in the middleweight division the pair finished the ride in 13th position with a time of 12 hours and 43 minutes.

The countdown is on! Rose of Sarangani (pictured) is in foal to Baranski and due this month. Our fingers are crossed that all goes well - stay tuned for more information.

This month we enjoyed a quick visit to Sydney - visiting horse farms, friends and relatives. We hope to incorporate the lines of some New South Wales based stallions into our breeding program in upcoming seasons.
News from the Sippel Family: The Sheikha Bae daughter Creekview Twilight Angel has been started under saddle and is developing into an excellent trail horse. Angel is pictured here (Photo by Teela G) on an eight hour trail ride with Gavin Sippel riding.

On the Queen's Birthday weekend we competed at the Arabian Valley Gala Show.
Hunters Risque Business returned to the show ring, placing 2nd in Partbred Colt 2 & 3 years with Wayne Beasley. Baxtreet, shown by Tracey was awarded 2nd place in Geldings 11 years and older . Eskdale Shaienne Bae put on a fantastic show with Lisa Donovan, competing in the very tough youth handler 14-17 years class.

Congratulations to Lisa Donovan on her successful showring debut! Showing Eskdale Shaienna Bae at Lowood Show, the pair were awarded 1st place in Mares 3 years+ and Reserve Champion Arabian Mare.
Baxtreet, shown by Tracey was awarded 2nd place in Geldings 3 years+ and Reserve Champion Arabian Gelding.

Congratulations to Stonefields Welsh Pony Stud in New Zealand on the acquisition of one of our favourite girls Eskdale Lime N Soda (pictured right) We wish you every success in the future.
Eskdale Shakago Bae continues to excel in endurance. After finishing 7th MWT at the 125klm FEI*** Upper Murray Challenge, Shakago and Ken Moir most recently finished 5th MWT at the Far-A-Way 84klm ride.

Congratulations to Cacharel Friesians on your success with Nikkitta of Cacharel. (pictured right) Shown by Tracey Keller at the 2009 FPS Keuring, Nikkitta was awarded the prestigious Ster status and also Queensland Champion.
Congratulations also to Arabrook Arabians in far north Queensland on your acquisition of the beautiful purebred filly Eskdale Forever Bae.

We are pleased to report that Eskdale Zarosa (pictured right) attended the QLD Arabian Summer Show. Placing in both the yearling filly and her crabbet related class, Zarosa turned many a head in the ring. Watch out for her in the future!
We send our best wishes to "Braveheart" (Bremervale Saruman x Eskdale Sarah Bae) for a speedy and complete recovery. After featuring in our January news this gorgeous colt suffered a severe injury and is in the best of care. Braveheart is owned by Amarillo Park Arabians.

Belated congratulations to Amarillo Park Arabians on the December birth of a stunning colt, the first foal from Eskdale Sarah Bae and sired by up and coming young sire Bremervale Saruman. We wish you all the best with this gorgeous colt!
Congratulations also toSheikha Bae and Sam Watson on their success at the Lithgow Australia Day Summer Show. Sheikha and Sam placed first in the local and open galloway classes, and Champion Open Galloway.
