A new website is under way here at Eskdale. We have been busy photographing the horses and revamping our current site in preparation for an early December re-launch.

Panmure Sarah has given us another filly! A stunning black bay purebred by the straight egyptian stallion Maf-Ue Shaienne (Simeon Seren x Arabian Park Classic). This filly is just stunning and exudes type and movement.
At the Top of the Range Arabian Event, Eskdale Lime N Soda was awarded 1st Quarab Filly and Champion Quarab Exhibit. This was Soda's last show for the season. Eskdale Mariachi also competed with own Sue Butler at the Top Of The Range, placing 2nd in the yearling partbred colt class (pictured)
The first week in October saw the running of the Trans Tasman FEI Endurance Ride at Red Range, NSW. Eskdale Espirique and owner/rider David Horton finished 9th place in the heavyweight 160klm division. Hirstglen Fargo, a son of Eskdale Silver Diamon finished 2nd in the heavyweight 160klm division with rider Donna Weismann. Congratulations!

Eskdale Silver Limelight has foaled a stunning purebred chestnut filly, the first foal by Cameo Marsellaize (Cedardell Zanzibar x Cameo Allegra) She lives up to her pedigree with great body, legs and incredible movement and presence.

Foaling season has arrived at Eskdale. Maiden mare Eskdale Khamis foaled our first foal of the season - a beautiful bay filly right on her due date in textbook style. The filly is sired by Eternal (*GLF Apollo x *Euni) and is as yet unnamed.

Congratulations to Ellen Ward and Eskdale Cinnamon Twist on the successful completion of their first endurance ride together, a 43klm ride in far north Queensland.

Congratulations to Eskdale Espirique (Amirique x Ambassadors Silver Destiny) 2nd Heavyweight at the Spring Mountain 80klm endurance ride, finishing just one minute behind the eventual winner with a time of 4hrs 2mins. Espirique finished first heavyweight at the 100klm Woodford Ride in May.

Congratulations to Diamond Explorer (Eskdale Silver Diamon x She's Impressive) 1st Heavyweight at the Gatton FEI*** 160klm endurance ride. 'Billy' was bred by Summer Park and ridden by Bruce Moore. Diamond Explorer is an anglo arabian stallion and 3/4 brother to our own Summer Park Moninique.

Success for Eskdale Espirique sons at the QLD Challenge State Championships! Summer Park Stargate (pictured) was awarded 1st Anglo Gelding over 3 years and Reserve Champion Anglo Arabian Exhibit. South Park Esspionage was awarded 2nd place colt 3yrs and South Park Eskapade was awarded Top Five 2yo Gelding. All three were exhibited by South Park Arabians.

New arrivals! Chestnut Tobiano partbred filly Evindra's Kastanah Gem and her palomino partbred dam Silverdale Caress are now at home at Eskdale. Eskdale Lime N Soda was awarded first place Quarab filly and reserve champion Quarab at the Pan Pacific Arabian Showcase. She also placed 2nd with Wendy at the lead in the Senior Handler class.

In early March a fire swept through our property, burning almost all of our winter feed and pastures. Thankfully all of the horses and our stables and house were saved. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our neighbours and to all of the rural and city fire brigades that saved our property and horses from the bushfire. We would also like to thank everyone for their offers of help from locals and as far away as Sydney.
