November 2007 FOALING NEWS!
Rose of Sarangani (*Rave VF x *Wild Rose) has foaled a stunning bay filly by Cedardell Zanzibar (Somerled x *Zaria). Our little girl is tall, elegant, very sweet and a big mover like both her parents. We believe she will have a bright future.

We welcome home Summer Park Moninique from South Park Arabians in Brisbane. Monique went to Leesa at South Park for training under saddle and
was stranded due to equine influenza. We are happy that Monique is home with us again.
Since our last update, we have seen EI come and go from the farm. All of our horses on the farm were infected and have all recovered well. All going we will have our quarantine status lifted soon.
Congratulations to Mystic Park Equestrian Center on the acquisition of Eskdale Arctic Poppy! Poppy is on her way to becoming an excellent lesson horse as part of Mystic Park's riding program. Mystic Park is also the home of the pinto-part arab stallion Eskdale Mariachi (Eskdale Dasjai x Tani-Mari Black Star) We wish you all the best with Poppy.

Congratulations to our vet and good friend Dr. Madonna Gardner on her wedding day!
We were honored to attend the ceremony, featuring a carriage drawn by a pair of
purebred Arabians driven by John McKay.
It was a wonderful day for all involved and we wish Trevor and Madonna all the very best for the future.

In other news, We would like to announce that Eskdale Marseille has been withdrawn from the sales list for the present time.
August is a big month for news - Congratulations also go to Leesa Carson and South Park Esspionage (Eskdale Espirique x Bremervale Spanish Queen), awarded Champion Arabian Stallion at the Brisbane Royal Show.
URGENT!
Due to confirmed cases of Equine Influenza in NSW and QLD the federal government has ordered a nationwide standstill on horse transport and we are at this point in time unable to compete, transport horses or accept new horses on to the property.

Congratulations to Shoshannah Rides on the purchase of Eskdale Vienna Rose and Eskdale Sarah Bae.We wish you all the best for the future with these two beautiful fillies.
In other news, Summer Park Moninique is currently in training with South Park Arabians. We hope to see Monique return to the show ring, her last appearance was as a weanling when she was awarded Top 5 Anglo Arabian Filly under 2yrs at the 'AA' class QLD Challenge Show.

We congratulate Cindy and Bree Daniels on the purchase of the very striking pinto filly Eskdale Artic Princess.We wish you all the best for the future and hope that you spend many happy riding hours together.
Stop Press: New acquisition for Eskdale! Hunters Risque Business (aka Spott) has joined the team and will be standing at stud this season. He was lightly shown in 2006 for Reserve Champion Partbred and Best Coloured Derivative at the Pan Pacific Showcase under judge Liz Salmon. Spott is 50% Arabian and should mature approximately 15hh. Our first show of the season was the Pan Pacific Arabian Showcase. Eskdale Shaienna Bae (Maf-Ue Shaienne x Panmure Sarah) trotted up a storm, performed beautifully in her yearling filly class and was placed in the top seven of a large class. Her next show is the QLD Arabian Challenge Show in May.

This month has seen visitors to the farm from all over the world. Early in to the month we spent an enjoyable weekend with Glenice and Pierre Armand of Beau-Val Arabians in NSW. To visit their website - click here -

Tracey is back from her adventures abroad which included attending the Salon du Cheval in Paris, visiting the historical Marbach Stud and several breeding farms and riding centres throughout Germany, Switzerland and Singapore.
Silverdale Caress (pictured right) has returned home to her previous owner Sandra Sheridan. We would like to thank Sandra for entrusting Caress to us and hope that her foal due later this year by the cremello-arabian Edenvale Arctic Snow is a show-stopper. We are retaining Caress' pinto-arabian daughter Evindras Kastanah Gem.

Wishing all of our friends, family and clients a happy and prosperous new year! 2007 brings a year of change for us and due to the ongoing and worsening drought in Queensland we have decided to downsize considerably.
In the new year we will be making some small changes to the website, starting with the format of the news page. As always we'd love to hear what you think about the site!
